Scientists say no 2 persons’ are alike, no DNA, no fingerprints. We are all independent of each other. We see, smell, feel and perceive things differently as individuals. What this says is that we are all unique by design, so why try to fit into a mold when yours is already custom made, for you?
It’s interesting how much energy we exert just trying to fit in. Whether its with our friends, co workers, and even our own families at times. From an early age without even realizing it, we long to fit into certain groups or sub-cultures so that others can be comfortable around us or that we can be seen as “normal”.
Perhaps it's to create some sort of equilibrium since being “different” can be risky or lonely at times, but as adults trying to secure new opportunities and advance our lives, we can't fit that mold or feed into the perspective of flirting with the norm.
We must understand that there is no such thing as NORMAL. Normal is not a constant, Normal is relative. You shouldn’t be trying to be normal, because you were never made to be normal to begin with. You were made to let your truest self shine and to unapologetically own your personality with all its flaws, beauty, and differences. you were made to be you.
So, be the perfectly designed, non-replicable, YOU!
